Luna Scura is a Middle Eastern Dance Artist from Maryland, specializing in Egyptian Raqs Sharqi and American Cabaret style belly dance. Since 2007, she has performed across DelMarVa as both a soloist and a member of Arabian Lights Dance Company, for whom she currently serves as President and Artistic Director.

On stage Luna truly "shines," offering her audience a blend of artful movement, dynamic personality and joyful expression of the music. She is known among her peers for her fun and creative choreography, her meticulously self-crafted costumes, and an eagerness to share understanding of the art of belly dance.

Luna currently offers Beginner Belly Dance classes at Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, MD. As an instructor, Luna is patient and responsive, offering both encouragement and critique to help even the most inexperienced student grasp the basics of Middle Eastern Dance movement.
